Finally!!!!

The girl and her boxer are reunited! Keyla had stayed in Virginia with Daddy while the girls and I came to Georgia for Christmas. Then I traveled back to Virginia to help finish up our move. Right now we are staying with Nana and PawPaw (my mom and dad). Of course poor Keyla went into heat during Christmas. She's won't keep the diapers on so she has had to spend a lot of time in her kennel since we arrived here. We will definitely be getting her spayed SOON! I hate seeing her sad and stuck in the kennel. Plus...Puppies....Ain't nobody got time for that!

She finally finished all that mess so she was able to get out and play today. Thank goodness! Arrington definitely missed being able to love on her. Even big sister got in on the snuggles for a change!

I liked the B&W so much I used it on my photography page. LOL Sweet girls!

Happy Holidays from the Girl and Her Boxer

I got some super cute Christmas Hats from one of my favorite boutiques. Arrington has been wearing her Duck Commander inspired hat for days. Which I find amusing amid all the "controversy". Wish we could all be like kids and be allowed to just like what we like, and feel how we feel without the drama! So we took some quick photos. Thanks Ms. Tricia! Hope everyone has a lovely holiday!

Morning Rituals

A lot of the photos of Arrington and Keyla are on our couch with her in PJs. Sissy goes to school in the mornings. And I use that time to get work done. Arrington usually plays with Keyla. And I try to have my camera nearby so I don't miss sweet moments like these!!!

The Beginning

As I was snapping photos of my daughter and her dog, I thought about ALLLLLLL of the photos that I have and how hilarious they are together. I thought I would share their relationship with the world through photos. And it will be something she can look back on in the future. I went through and found some photos from when we first adopted our boxer Keyla to show the story from the beginning. (Forgive my photography skills...I've come a long way!)

We got Keyla from a friend about a week before Thanksgiving in 2011. Arrington was only 10 months old. They have been great friends from the start. This crazy dog will put up with just about anything from her little human!

Our next post will start the more current photos. Hope you all enjoy their relationship as much as I do!
